2018 Madrid program begins

The Study Abroad program in Madrid is underway! These students will spend the next month at The Complutense University of Madrid with Professors Huguet-Jerez and Otero, completing two courses and visiting Madrid’s museums and monuments, with day trips to other regions. Student Ambassadors Program, Study in Spain

The Embassy of Spain-Trade Commission just launched the 2018-2019 edition of the STUDY IN SPAIN – STUDENT AMBASSADORS PROGRAM. Poetry reading by the prominent Chinese poet Zang Di

The event had a huge turnout (probably 60-70 students attended). The reading was also accompanied by  the Chinese Guqin master John Thompson/唐世璋. Wu Hongfei’s Event

Acclaimed and award-winning Chinese writer-poet-alternative rock musician Wu Hongfei gave a successful performance to a packed audience at library auditorium on Sept. 27th.    As Wu Hongfei has been promoting and rediscovering her indigenous Dong Ethnic music (侗族)in recent years, she also gave a talk on “Ethno-folk music and Chinese Rock ‘N’ Roll.” Attached are some of the photos for this event.
