Jeimy Herrera Velasquez – NJ Distinguished Student Teacher

Graduating senior Jeimy Herrera Velasquez, a Spanish/Secondary Education major, was recognized as a New Jersey Distinguished Student Teacher in an award ceremony on June 24, 2015. Each year, colleges and universities from across the entire state nominate their most distinguished student teachers. Jeimy was one of only fifteen student teachers chosen as award recipients. Jeimy will be teaching in Pond Middle School in Robbinsville, New Jersey in the fall.

Congratulations to Mi-Yeon Park, a TCNJ sophomore in Chinese 152 this semester, who was awarded a Boren Scholarship for the 2015-2016 academic year!  She will study at the Beijing Foreign Studies University.Continue Reading
