Elementary Spanish Syllabi (101-103)
Our Spanish faculty hail from many countries and are committed to providing quality, student-engaged instruction in Spanish.
Students who opt to take courses beyond the beginning level can complete a Spanish minor, with 5 courses at the intermediate and advanced level. Bilingual students can also take Spanish for Heritage Speakers.
Many students, regardless of whether they are majors or minors in Spanish, take advantage of the many study abroad options in Spanish-speaking countries. Students have studied in Barcelona, Granada, Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla, Valencia SPAIN, as well as in Buenos Aires, ARGENTINA, Valparaiso, CHILE, San José, COSTA RICA, Lima, PERU, and other fascinating places.
TCNJ runs its own immersion programs with TCNJ faculty in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) during the Spring, and in Madrid, Spain, during the summer.
