Poetry reading by the prominent Chinese poet Zang Di

The event had a huge turnout (probably 60-70 students attended). The reading was also accompanied by  the Chinese Guqin master John Thompson/唐世璋. Zang Di, who has been honored three times as one of China’s top ten poets, is a featured poet at the Princeton Poetry Festival on October 5-6, 2017. Va’ Pensiero, Itinerant Stories

Ethiopian film director Dagmawi Yimer will present a screening of “Va’ Pensiero, Walking Stories.” The docu-film is an interwoven account of two racist attacks in Milan and Florence and the victim’s painful attempts to piece the fragments of their lives back together. TCNJ students spending the semester in Alcalá de Henares, Spain made the local paper. The story is about the volunteer work they did at a local homeless shelter.
